Refugee Hiring Events

Is your business looking to hire?

The Government of Canada is committed to welcoming at least 40,000 refugees and vulnerable Afghans to Canada with the goal to help them land meaningful employment across Canada.

If you are a business that would like to take part in the Refugee Hiring events, please register below.

 Important information:

1. Candidates are able to upload their resumes prior to the event, and you are able to view the resumes when you’re talking to the candidate on the day of.
2. These virtual interviews should be treated as initial screening interviews where you can determine if their communication, soft skills and desired work locations are a good fit for any of your open roles.
3. Each interview will be 10 minutes long and the length of the event depends on the number of job seekers/employers confirmed.
4. Following the events we encourage you to share any entry, mid, senior level opportunities with job seekers who impressed you and invite them for next steps in your interviewing/hiring processes.
