Please practice proper waste disposal. Blue recycling containers in our Hamlets are for recycling only. Big Lakes County Transfer Stations are open Wednesday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for residents and campers to dispose of their waste. The Transfer Stations are closed on Christmas Day. The High Prairie & District Regional Landfill Site is open Monday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day, and Easter Sunday.
