FEBRUARY 21 @ 11:10AM – The Boil Water Advisory remains in effect until further notice for Joussard residents who receive water directly to their homes.
The Big Lakes County Utilities Department is currently awaiting the results of the water sample tests. We expect to receive these results by the end of the day or by tomorrow, Saturday, February 22, 2025. Once the results are in, we will update you on whether the advisory will be lifted.
The Joussard truckfill remains open, and water collected from the truckfill does not require boiling.
Potable water is available at the Joussard Water Plant (North door) from 8 AM to 8 PM.

However, a Boil Water Advisory will remain in effect until further notice for residents who receive water directly to their homes. FEBRUARY 17 @ 7PM – Big Lakes County crews will begin flushing waterlines tomorrow morning, Tuesday, February 18th. During this process, you may experience little to no water pressure throughout the day.

FEBRUARY 15 @ 9:25AM – Big Lakes County crews are currently working to repair a watermain break at the corner of Lakeview Drive and 1st Ave SW in Joussard.
As a result, there will be no water throughout the day. However, potable water is available at the water plant for filling jugs.
