County Transfer Stations

Transfer stations may be closed during inclement weather or other conditions that pose a risk to personnel and the public. Such closings may occur without any notice.

NOTE: Verbal or physical abuse of attendants or staff will not be tolerated. Any unacceptable behavior will result in immediate notification to the authorities.

Did You Know?

• Recycling bins are in each hamlet for you to use at anytime. Please take advantage of them.
• Cardboard recycling bins are available at the transfer sites.
• Solar lights have been installed at the transfer sites for your safety.
• The ‘Take it or Leave it’ buildings are set up at all transfer stations. Items placed in ‘Take it or Leave it’ will remain for two weeks and then be disposed of.
• The transfer stations are closed on Christmas Day.
