Snowplowing and Grading of Private Driveways
New applicants will need to visit the County office, located in High Prairie or Kinuso. Here you will receive a one-time Snowplow or Grading Request Sign indicating the resident’s Agreement number.
The sign is to be placed at a location that is easily visible to the equipment operator when the resident is requesting the snowplow or grading service. The driveways will be maintained as time and priorities permit, the equipment operator will record the appropriate agreement number acknowledging that the driveway has been plowed or graded. The County will then issue an invoice to the resident for the service.
Residents who would like these services will be required to enter into a non-transferable agreement prior to the service being provided. Please call 780-523-5955 for more information.
Snowplowing and Grading will be charged at the current County rates with a minimum charge of $74.00 and is subject to change from time to time at the discretion of Council. Snowplowing after the first ½ hour will be charged at a rate of $148.00 per hour.
