The River Forecast Centre (RFC) is issuing a River Ice Advisory for the West Prairie River around High Prairie.
River ice breakup and elevated snowmelt runoff on the West Prairie River have resulted in flooding of low-lying areas adjacent to the river. A local bridge north of High Prairie might be impacted. No widespread flooding is expected, but other localized infrastructure impacts are possible.
Advisories apply to streams and their tributaries unless otherwise noted.
