NOTICE OF INTENT
FOR BYLAW AMENDMENT TO SET MAXIMUM SPEED LIMIT
By-Law No. 03-2025
Notice is hereby given that Big Lakes County intends to establish maximum speed limits for highways subject to their direction, control and management described as follows:
All that portion of Township Road 740 beginning at Range Road 104 (Spruce Point Park Road) and continuing westerly approximately 990 metres to the end of municipal roadway at Northwest Section 32, Township 73, Range 10, West of the Fifth Meridian, Maximum 30 km/hr
All that portion of Range Road 153 (Swamp Road) beginning at approximately 3.16 km north of Township Road 752A and 200 meters south of the Bridge File 81343 structure at Northwest Section 27, Township 75, Range 15, West of the Fifth Meridian and continuing north for approximately 1.96 km to 200 meters north of the Bridge File 13100 structure at Northwest Section 34, Township 75, Range 15, West of the Fifth Meridian, Maximum 50 km/hr
All that portion of Range Road 155 beginning at approximately 544m north of Township Road 750 and 200 meters south of the Bridge File 71354 structure at Southwest Section 5, Township 75, Range 15, West of the Fifth Meridian and continuing north for approximately 418 meters to 200 meters north of the Bridge File 71354 structure, Maximum 50 km/hr
A public hearing will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the Big Lakes County Council Chambers. Anyone wishing to attend this hearing may do so.
