Copies of the proposed Road Closure Bylaw may be examined by contacting the office of the County Administration between the hours of 8:15 a.m. to noon and 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Any person, group of persons, or person representing them who claims to be affected by the proposed bylaw amendment may make an oral or written submission to Council for consideration. Written submissions must be received no later than 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026, and must include the name of the signatories and how each signatory is affected by the subject matter of the public hearing.
The Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Big Lakes County Administration Office at 5305 – 56 Street, High Prairie. Any person wishing to attend the public hearing electronically must register, at least five (5) calendar days prior to the commencement of the public hearing. A link will be provided to registered attendees before commencement of the public hearing.
