Compass Assessment Consultants Inc. will be conducting property inspections throughout Big Lakes County boundaries for year-end development permits from December 8 to 12, 2025.
Property re-inspection is a standard best practice used by all Alberta municipalities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of their assessment base. The re-inspection program is monitored and audited by Municipal Affairs to ensure compliance.
County assessors will be wearing official photo identification badges. If residents are not home, and the assessors have questions, a door hanger will be left with information on how to contact the Assessment Department at 1-800-251-9711.
