On-Farm Efficiency Program

Calling all Agricultural Producers! The On Farm Efficiency Program has re-opened April 1, 2025. This funding program is a cost share (50% applicant, 50% grant), to a maximum of $150,000.

The program has 4 streams. The maximum funding per stream over the duration of the program is:

  • $50,000 for Smart Farm Technology
  • $50,000 for Energy Efficiency
  • $2,000 for Farm Security
  • $100,000 for Efficient Grain Handling

Eligible purchases are retroactive to April 1, 2023.

This program is part of the federal-provincial Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership (SCAP).To be eligible you must have a current Environmental Farm Plan (EFP) or must submit one along with your final report of the project.

Producers are encouraged to apply ASAP as this program can fill up fast!
