Re: Big Lakes County | 2026 Road Rehabilitation – Contract 1 | Construction Notice
Please be advised that E Construction a Division of Colas Western Canada Inc. (ECL) will be completing road construction within the Hamlet of Grouard (Site 2) as part of the Big Lakes County 2026 Road Rehabilitation Contract 1 Project. The drawings below identify the Project Location and Construction Limits for your information.
The scope of work includes but is not limited to, water valve replacements, roadway reconstruction including excavation, gravel base placement and asphalt paving, drainage rehabilitation including culvert replacements.
Construction is expected to commence on approximately May 20, 2026 and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2026 weather permitting. The anticipated hours of work will be from 7am to 9pm Monday through Saturday and 8am to 9pm on Sunday.
Vehicular and pedestrian traffic will be always accommodated through the work area however minor delays may be encountered. Temporary Construction Signage and Delineation will be installed while construction is underway to safeguard the project site.
We kindly request that all signage and speed limits are adhered to ensure the safety of all workers and members of the public. Big Lakes County, ECL and MPE a Division of Englobe appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete this project.
