October 16 @ 11:20am: The Grouard Truck Fill Pad Replacement Project is almost complete, with just a few final items left to finish.
We understand that the delay in reopening has been frustrating for residents, and we truly appreciate your patience.
The newly upgraded, fully heated, and non-slip truck fill station is now scheduled to reopen on Friday, October 31.
The reason for the delay is to give the concrete pad the full 28 days to cure, so it can safely support vehicles of any weight. If we were to open it now, the pad can only handle up to 5 tonnes, and heavier vehicles could crack the new concrete, leading to repairs and further delays.
Thank you again for your understanding as we complete these final steps to provide a safer and fully functional truck fill.

Big Lakes County advises residents that the Grouard Truck Fill Pad Replacement Project will begin on September 8, 2025.
As a result, the Grouard Truck Fill and Free Tap will be closed from September 8 to October 12, 2025, to allow for construction.
During this time, alternative truck fill locations are available in Enilda, Joussard, and the Town of High Prairie.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete these important infrastructure upgrades.
