The Committee of the Whole meeting scheduled for Wednesday, October 8, 2025 has been cancelled.

The Municipal Planning Commission meeting originally scheduled for Wednesday, October 22, 2025, has been rescheduled to Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in the Big Lakes County Council Chambers.
▪ Organizational Meeting
The Big Lakes County Organizational Meeting will take place on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers. This important meeting helps set the direction for the upcoming year, ensuring Council’s leadership is aligned with the needs and goals of the community. At this meeting, Council will: review and update key bylaws and policies, appoint members to over 50 committees, and elect the Reeve and Deputy Reeve.

The next Big Lakes County Library Board meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the County Admin Office in High Prairie at 4:00 p.m.

Please be advised that a Special Council Meeting has been scheduled for Monday, November 24, 2025, and Friday, November 28, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the Big Lakes County Council Chambers for the purpose of discussing the 2026 Operating and Capital Budgets. Members of the public are invited to provide input on the budget during a Public Input Session scheduled for Monday, November 24, 2025, and Friday, November 28, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Big Lakes County Council Chambers. Council welcomes your comments, questions, and suggestions as we work together to set priorities and plan for the future of Big Lakes County.
