County Waste Transfer Stations: Open Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Regional Landfill: Open Saturday and Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Planning to Light Fireworks?
If you’re planning to set off fireworks within the Big Lakes County Fire Permit Area, you must obtain a permit first. Apply online or contact the Fire Guardian at 780-507-9848. If you live outside the County’s permit area, within the Forest Protection Area, please contact Alberta Wildfire at 780-523-6619 for approval.
