If you’re a Small Business owner with a valid Big Lakes County license and you are looking to enhance the physical or digital presence of your business, this program is for you!
Approved Big Lakes County Small Businesses may receive a grant of up to 50% of the total enhancement upgrades to a maximum of $2,500.00.
The following items will generally be considered qualifying for the Business Enhancement Grant Program:
- Patios, public seating areas and permanent landscaping elements
- Exterior and interior lighting
- Improvements to public accessibility including removal of barriers for people with disabilities and mobility challenges
- Restoration of exterior finishes and painting, including murals or other artistic features
- New architectural details, such as entryway features or accents
- Replace or repair storefront windows and doors
- Construct or replace awnings or signage
- Web presence improvements, such as websites
