Bridge repairs on the Lesser Slave River Bridge (BF81584), located approximately 1 km south of Grouard, are scheduled to begin September 9, 2026, and are expected to be completed by October 14, 2026.
During construction:
- The northbound lane will be closed across the bridge.
- The southbound lane will be reduced to one lane, with alternating traffic controlled by temporary traffic lights at both ends of the bridge.
- Short-term, temporary bridge closures may occur from time to time for certain construction activities.
- Expect delays and slower travel times through the construction area.
- Please obey all posted speed limits and traffic control signs.
- Slow down and use caution when travelling through the construction zone.
