It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ed Podollan on July 22nd.
Ed dedicated himself to his community as a Council member from 2013 to 2017. He was known for his friendly nature and could always be found striking up a conversation wherever he went. He will be sincerely missed by everyone at Big Lakes County, past and present, who knew him as a friend.
In honor of Ed, the County will lower our flags to half-mast until sunset on August 12th.
Our deepest sympathies go out to the family and friends of Ed Podollan.
