At a Special Council meeting held on September 26, 2022, Big Lakes County Council appointed Mr. Roy Brideau as the interim Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for Big Lakes County, effective October 6, 2022. Mr. Brideau replaces current CAO, Mr. Jordan Panasiuk, who notified Council in August of his resignation effective October 14, 2022.
Mr. Brideau has over 40 years of municipal government experience, including over two years as the CAO for Big Lakes County from November 2016 to January 2019.
The recruitment process to fill Big Lakes County’s CAO position is underway. Mr. Brideau’s interim role will conclude once a permanent CAO has been selected and appointed by Council.
